The AAI ELITE™ Parallel Bar has been designed to accommodate the higher stresses of advanced moves that gymnasts are incorporating into their elite level routines, especially during mounts and dismounts and moves done off the sides and under the bars. The unit has exceptional lateral and longitudinal stability, achieved by increasing the length of each of the four vertical uprights by 6" (15 cm), and by adding more stabilizer weight to the base. Improved dual locking spin and snap lock mechanisms prevent piston movement while in use. The bars adjust in width from 15" to 26" (380 to 650 mm). Height adjusts from 53-1/8" to 76-3/4" (1350 mm to 1950 mm). with smooth action assist springs, in 50 mm increments to accommodate 20 cm. mats, which meet the latest FIG specifications. New welded steel saddle assemblies attach the Graphite II fiberglass-graphite composite bars to chrome plated pistons. The base is finished in a powder coated navy blue.
