American Athletic is pleased to introduce its new American Elite
BB-804-RA balance beam. It meets all FIG technical specifications and is designed for
all levels gymnastics competition.
This all new product has some outstanding features. First, it has exceptional lateral and longitudinal stability. This stability is provided by the strongest steel leg structures in the industry. More stability is a must for today’s routines, especially during mounts and dismounts and when moves are being done off the side and under the beam.
Another great feature is the ease with which the height of the beam can be adjusted. After the spin and snap locks are disengaged, the beam remains counterbalanced. Then, a one handed lift upward or push downward on the beam will move it to the desired height. It is simply the easiest beam to adjust, one end at a time.
The "silent" reflex mechanism has been repositioned inside the beam for maximum "lift" across the full length of the beam.
The steel legs are specially configured so that they can accommodate floor safety mats of any thickness up to 20cm (7.9 inches). The floor contact points of each leg remains directly under the end of the beam at all height settings. The height settings are presented visually on each side of the beam.

Padded Balance Beam
Top surface combines special layers of foam and a PVC extrusion with tough, suede-like (100 GV) material. Exacting fit eliminates friction for longer life. Beam is 16'5" (5000 mm) long; 4" (100 mm) wide.
Height adjusts from 39-3/8" (1000 mm) to 47-1/4" (1200 mm) easily with American's dual spin and snap lock mechanisms, and assist springs.
Meets FIG, USAG, NCAA, and NHSF competition specifications.
Balance Beam Training Pad
Construction is red vinyl laminated synthetic reinforced surface; filler is 1-1/4" (32 mm) polyethylene; and the fit is snug with standard velcro fasteners. The pad comes in two sections, each 72" (1830 mm) long, they can also be used to convert the balance beam for vaulting training sessions.
